Starting the grid and breathing in.. and out.. in... and out...

It was a busy week. Usually my weeks are filled with my day job, quilting and some other stuff, but this week was, well, with moments I needed to remind myself to breathe in and out. And sometimes I even had to remind me to repeat that action. My day job was filled with the end of a big moving and building project, which I am responsible for in my department. The project is almost done, people are back in their renovated offices. It took a lot of my time, and I am proud of it! The offices look fabulous, including mine. My office is something like 7 yards high, with a lot of light. Love it!

So this week was a load of day time job and fun, because also the promotion for the AQS show in Paducah is out, and my four classes are promoted. I get some reactions on that, and I love that.

Main motifs on sampler done
The main motifs for the class sample for hand quilting in a hoop are now done, and tomorrow I will make the grid. Show you how I do that, because Ted Storm learned me how to make an even grid. And just drawing the lines and quilt them is not part of that... Never had a grid that didn't work out!
One tutorial coming up.

For now I am tired, and happy to go to bed. Tomorrow is another day, I am happy my sample quilt is in the next stage!

Have fun quilting,
Annemart

  3. I just put some quilting on hold waiting for your grid tutorial. I always have problems with uneven sections. Thanks in advance for your help.
