Yesterday I worked on my mini white-on-white. Not finished, as we had an emergency with the freezer, which kept me busy. 7 Drawers of food had to be relocated, as the freezer decided to quit working. All the leftovers of Christmas, our stock of soup, vegetables from the vegetable garden, meat and all, all had to be brought to friends, family and neighbors. Let's say it took some time! And still have some things left. This week we will be eating only one thing: From The Freezer. Unexpected combinations can be great though. How about rabbit stew with potato pancakes? Nothing wrong with that. Although it is a bit posh to eat rabbit stew as a simple Monday evening dinner. Or shrimps for lunch. But I could get used to this. Hèhè...
So the time on my mini white-on-white was limited, but spent wisely.
Just one border feather to go, and then the main motifs are finished. I am still thinking about a grid. I think it will be a diagonal grid, 1/4 inch, in the center. Will show you how I plan the grid when I get there.
This weekend I ran again. I am so proud I can run again, and more than that, actually doing it! And the world is with me, because when I finished my run, I walked home and found a 10 euro note (round about 12 dollar). Think I will save it for something run or quilt related. It felt as a reward!
Fingers crossed my Achilles tendon will remain calm. I hope to run a 5k in 9 weeks, and in 19 weeks 10k. I would like to go quicker, but I have to be careful. The injury I have can pop up each time I am overtraining. Not too smart if I would do that. But the temptation is there...
Life is getting back to normal. And I like it.
Have fun quilting!

What a lovely shot of your quilting. I'm glad you're able to get back to your running.
