You're the first to know: My first book published!

I told you about Houston, and going to QuiltMarket and QuiltFestival. And then I told you about going to AQS show Michigan. And then AQS Paducah was added to the tour planning. But what I couldn't tell you why I was going to all these shows. And I was so eager to tell you all!!!

Tadaadaadaaa....My first book will be published! 

It is planned for summer, but AQS Publishing and I are working hard together to get it out in April, in time for AQS Quiltshow Paducah.

The book is filled with the techniques how to decorate different materials and it includes 11 patterns to decorate your shoes to make a unique pair. I hope it's ready in April, so I can show all the people in Paducah who saw my shoes last year, how to make their own.

And how it all happened is just a more amazing story. I showed you my shoes, the ones I wore to Paducah. And AQS saw them too, on show last year. We spoke on show, I designed a pair on the spot and was asked to send in a book proposal. That was April last year. It became a roller coaster ride, that hasn't yet finished, to get everything ready in time. And let's keep our fingers crossed it will.

I promise you, I will keep you all informed about the events related to the publishing of my book and I'll tell you all about what is related to publishing your book with AQS. And of course, I will have a give away for a signed copy when I will have the copies in hand.

But for now: I am so happy I can finally tell you!!!
